Refunds

Applies to: EcoCremation Prepaid Funeral Plans purchased on this website. This policy summarises refunds; for full details see our Terms & Conditions.

Cooling-off period

  • Single / up to 12-month plans: full refund within 30 days of activation.
  • 5- or 10-year monthly plans: refund of amounts paid within the first 12 months.

After the cooling-off period

  • Single / up to 12-month plans: refund of amounts paid minus a £76 cancellation fee.
  • 5- or 10-year monthly plans: no refund after 12 months. (If the Plan is cancelled within the first 12 months, we refund amounts paid.)

How to request a refund

  • Email info@ecocremation.uk from your purchase email with: Plan holder name, order reference, phone, and reason.
  • We may request ID, proof of payment, and (where relevant) a death certificate and indemnity form.

Method & timing

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method wherever possible.
  • Processing typically completes within 5–10 business days after approval (bank times may vary).

Exceptions & notes

  • If services have already been provided (e.g., collection/cremation performed), refunds may not be available beyond any unused components.
  • Missed-payment cancellations follow the rules in our Terms (admin/cancellation fee £76 where applicable).
  • This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
